Unison Theatrical Choir Barrington Theatre Ferndown June 2005 The evening was split into six sections – Love & Marriage, Law & Lawless, Luck & Money, Life, Kids and Summer Holiday – and the content was tremendously varied, ranging from the well-known to the obscure. Well, do YOU know Aliens Stole My Pants or Pe Po Belly Bum? But I’m sure you’re familiar with If I Were A Rich Man and Flash Bang Wallop. I loved the many super costumes, and it was really refreshing to hear so many unusual numbers. The singing was good as well, with some lovely harmonies in evidence, & there were some very funny sketches. However, some of the lighting was very odd, and at almost three hours the evening was a good half-hour too long. There were several instances of memory loss too, so perhaps a little less to learn might have helped. But, without doubt, the company is moving in the right direction with its unique format.
